Ideal is all flock with calcium on side. I ain't buying it coz it costs $6 extra.

my feed store dummies wouldn't know what all flock is....

This is the company my feed store orders feed from.
Im not sue if it is the best feed out there but I like that it is made in Texas...so I will continue to use this brand.

There are only 4 options at my feed store..the 4 I mentioned above.

IF I wanted to purchase this "all flock" stuff ...do you see one from this company that I could ask the feed store to get for me?

No. I've only ever seen all flock from nutrena & Purina.

If it was important to feed the roosters different feed...wouldn't a large company know this and make feed for them?

Very few feed anything but layer. Feed supplies make what gets bought.

Depends who you ask. I think it comes down to a personal decision. Some say you should never do it, that's their choice.... I do think it would decrease his lifespan, if you're gonna try and keep him for 8+ years.

He is mean...Well I guess he is just doing his job, protecting, but I don't care too much for him.
I prefer he live a happy life but if he ends up in a box or a pot that would be fine too.

Our dollar general opens at 8. For a while they opened at 7. I drop the kids at school 7:30-7:45, so opening at 7 was the best! But now it's back to 8. So I have to just sit in the parking lot, wasting time.
