Morning! Shortstack is doing good, but not as fast or steady as the others. Pancake was catching bugs for them to eat, and SS just say there. So I put them all back in the nest. In a day or two they'll all be the same.

I think I got a duck egg today! It was on the floor of the goat coop, same size as a chicken egg, but off white. I don't have any chickens that lay that color.

was it smooth ? Thats what I noticed about mine. and the off white of course. Looked dirty to me.
Did SS finish on his own or did you take more ?

Yep, smooth and looked dirty. It was under the manger where the hay is.

SS was fluffy and dry when I went out this morning. Not sure if he had any help or not, but I didn't go back out and do it.

sweet ! I hope the ducks dont hide them on you. Maybe put a decoy where you found the egg.
