Night Lisa, sleep well, love you much

Ally, what different turner ? I didnt know there was a different kind ? I dont like mine because I feel like it dont turn very well.

did you figure out that silly turner? My last bator I purchased came with one & I don't think it worked. I purchased a regular turner for mine.

It works! Mine got unplugged at some point. I think I pulled the wrong plug trying to unplug the candler

but it goes a bit crazy. The eggs really roll sometimes. Found the one at the outside edge instead of the middle. How do you like the regular turner? I thought about buying one. This one works but it's so flat it drives me nuts. And flimsy!
They work pretty good. Banty size eggs can be a little tougher with them, but you would like a normal turner better than that thing I'm sure.

I was reading some about Lent and I learned it was when Jesus went into the desert and fasted for 40 days and nights so I understand you are supposed to give up something for 40 days, not cut back . I mean , he didnt just eat a little at night, he didnt eat. So I am just trying to understand this thing you do . Shouldnt you pick something to totally give up or am I not understanding right ?

its still a form of penance/abstance and the church and bible seem to have this thing about "40"

Any egg the size of yours truly is not going to be easy to turn!
Nope, I always did a little hand tilting my silkie eggs in the turner cuz quite often they would just tilt to 1 side then not move when it tilted the other way. Pretty good hatches last spring doing that, plus I would do just a slight turn of the egg in the holder cup.
