Im glad I dont . I had a old game roo for many yrs. that I had the devil of a time keeping his trimmed. I trim the mean roos spurs but havent need to any others.

I need to trim both of the CCL roos spurs, plus I noticed my Beifelders beak needs to be trimmed adain

It still could be a jay... that's what I'm hoping. Sometimes I find them completely eaten, but most of the time it just has a smallish hole and most of the egg is left inside. I think granny is right and the chickens would eat the whole thing if it were them starting it. About 10 yrs ago, hubs found a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles camera with time lapse on clearance at ToysRUs. It was super cheap and works pretty good. That's what we use to see who is eating eggs. It's been the jays every time so far. Theyteach the babies what to do.

We will find the guilty party. TMNT is on the job ! Donatello, Raphael , GO !!

I put cinder block or red bricks in the coops so they can sharpen their own.

wait, wasnt the TMNT with the Rat boss or was he the bad guy ? How do rats eat eggs ? Its a conspires . the turtles and rats are in it together and they are setting the blue jays up to get rid of the competition. Wishing, you have a whole disney movie going on in your back yard.

So, I'm a horrible dog mom.

The mutt is outside. Back light is on. Hubs also wired in these crazy off-road lights so it lights up all the way back to the coop...which is how I could tell the mutt was feasting on nugget nuggets again. (Mm chicken poop)

So I call her back in and turn off the light so the bugs don't all come in the house. Well, I totally didn't think of that screwing her night vision....she walked right into the patio door! DOONK!

Good thing she's got a hard head.....poor girl.
