DH.  Seems he feels he will know how to fix it and can do a better job then I can. That may be true, I dont know what he can and cant do but it pizzes me off to no end for him to say that.  How did I end up married to a chauvinistic pig ?   I guess because I dont have a dangly thing I shouldnt have a screw driver in my hands.   How can he even say that when I have been the one that has done all home repairs ?   I can build a coop but not screw a lightbulb ?

Try not to get mad at him granny, he means well but didn't say it right. What I'm going to tell you to do before hubs even gets there. Right down the exact name of the bator, the model & serial # and pm or message me that info. I will try to find a online manual for it. If we know what it's supposed to do it will be easier to figure out if it needs fixing & what might be the problem if it has one. Tom just doesn't want to see you get frustrated with it is all. I got it all took apart. seems like all I would need to do is add a light bulb and if this thermometer dont work right add one . I already have one. It looks like a small heating plate to me and heats the floor of the bator. I have looked for days for a manual. Dont mean much though.
