Ok, looked it up. Frizzle is dominant. Frizzle rooster has one frizz gene and one smooth gene. Breed him to a smooth hen and chances are 50% frizzle, 50% smooth.

If you breed 2 frizzles, chances are 25%smooth, 50% frizzle, 25% frazzle

I think the smooth will still have the hidden frizzle gene and if bred to a frizzle hen can still get frazzle.

they have chicks ( I hope ) No other hatcherys do. Thats their selling point.

there is a book called Chickens for dummies. It is a great book easy to read. I would recommend it to anyone. No one person can teach you . You should check it out. It was written by the owner of BYC.

There is no hidden frizzle gene. If they have one, they will be frizzled. If they have 2 then frazzled. No frizz genes is a smooth bird. That's what dominant means, it will dominate over the other gene and show up in the animal
