Granny's gone and done it again

@granny hatchet

Yes I've gone totally mad and got three goose eggs in the incubator, I just couldn't help myself. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth and the friend I got them from said he will have any goslings back (if they hatch). They are giants compared to chicken eggs and I have them in the nasty incubator so I'm needing to turn them and monitor humidity. They just wouldn't fit in the Brinsea along with 21 chicken eggs. Just before I set them ~

Those are some HUGE eggs.
Good luck with the nasty bator!!

really ? Give me your money, in advance and all. I will send you what I want not what you order.  And if you dont like it too bad. I wont deal with you.  How DO they stay in business. LOL    And, Im not showing you what they look like either.

Must be nice to be able to be so uppity hu ?

I don't believe they are like that at all. The are trying to preserve heritage breeds
They also deal in heritage sweet potatoes. I believe these will be better quality than hatchery stock. If you read their website they explain their vision.

It certainly isn't for anyone wanting instant gratification.or just want some birds so yo have eggs to eat. They certainly are not going to be high production egg layers like the sexlinked are.

They don't cash your check until they fill your order. They don't except credit cards, they don't do online orders, ii have yet to have them answer the phone.

I am actually feel blessed that there are still people around that care about breeding heritage chickens and food.

I will see if and when I get my chicks.

Mornings all
I read it h20, was my understanding they wont accept post dated checks and they cash them when received. I may have read wrong as I was skimming . There were several chickens I didnt know and some they made themself . Then the red polish , yellow, and black headed blue. I dont see them at regular hatcheries.
