It's quiet here tonight.  Must have been a tough hump day for everyone.

A dozen Texas eggs and a dozen more of my mixes. Some of them are eggs I was going to send Danna but they were too old, or not enough... I don't remember. But we're basically hatching the same clutch.

thats cool, hers should be due soon ? I keep missing her on here but wont be too much longer we can spend the day together !

Hope everyone stays safe in the storms.

Dummy me forget to lock up the hens last night and my Marans got killed.   Very bummed, because it didn't need to happen.  Also, she was my dark egg layer, besides the old Welsummer who has never been a good layer.  I really like the dark colored eggs, especially next to the green and blues.

Just so happens, the feed store has Welsummers and Barnevelder chicks in right now.  hmmm...  Either would be a good replacement, but I can't get just one, can I?  Maybe one of each? 

Has anyone ever had a hatchery Barnevelder?  Are they nice?

Oh no wishing that's terrible. What killed them? How many?

why am I trying to talk you into a maran if you just had one ? are they the same as the one you lost and did she lay really dark ? and is Marans singular ? or maran.

My cuckoo Marian is nice, she went broody last year.
I got her from mcmurrays.

I havent taking pics of these last ones I have. 2 will be very pretty. a frizzled serama/silkie black and white. Not sure on the other yet. tiny ..
I got a pimple on my chin where I used to yrs. ago when I would turn into a witch every full moon.

Its thursday here. 2 more days til the swap and if its cold I cant take chicks. I will have to do everything myself . I will tell one person a price and tell someone else a different price. If I could ID them I could write prices down. Maybe I can put sale stickers on them ? hahahaa I cant bring the cages out of the van by myself.
