Very cute indeed! The bantams are spunky. They are beating up on the leghorns and hiding under the ones I hatched. So the ones my parents brought me are a few days older than mine, they have wing feathers. But mine are bigger, the leghorns are pretty close though.
I did four minis, I got scrapped pretty good by the yearling and the other ones just tested me. They wanna see if they could be stupid with me :eyeroll I won the fights but my body is going you fool gonna do another trim in about 3-4 weeks because their toes need work still. Figuring if I get good doing them I can do other miniatures
We have scrub jays and Steller's jays here. No blue jays. It's the scrub jays that do it. Crows only come to nest in the spring, if the jays don't chase them away. Crows aren't interested in the coops so far.
I don't know camping... I think I see room for one more egg! Sorry about the chicks. Was thinking the same as camping, maybe a sneaky snake. Hope you get a break in the rain soon. I remember rainy winters when the cows would congregate behind the barn and the clay mud was knee deep. Boots constantly got stuck in the adobe.
Good morning guys, I'm home sick with the stomach bug. Had it yesterday and I was miserable at work so today hopefully I can kick it to the curb and recoup.
Started raining here about an hour ago. I'm not looking forward to the wind tonight. Aren't you glad you don't live uphill? They are going to get lots of snow! brrrrr
Sounds good! I made toast and currently watching reruns of supernatural lol Thank pro! Had hubs been gone long? Hollering nugget? That just sounds funny
He's been gone since Saturday am. So not too long. Hollering nugget would be comical if it wasn't ten past six am. I may have to start some peace offerings of eggs to neighbors soon... Dang camping. You're all stocked up on necessities right?
