Sorry about the chicks. Was thinking the same as camping, maybe a sneaky snake.   Hope you get a break in the rain soon.  I remember rainy winters when the cows would congregate behind the barn and the clay mud was knee deep.  Boots constantly got stuck in the adobe.

I love all the Hunger Games movies! Catching Fire was my favorite book and movie by far though. I was so excited when Katniss found out she loved Peeta in it. I love all that romance crap. Finnick was probably one of my favorite characters on the series. I was so sad when he died. He was pretty cute too. I could talk about the Hunger Games all day! Thanks! Yeah! I'm so excited!

So last year when I got my chicks at Rural king a lady, assuming I had kids told me to add food coloring to the oyster shell around Easter for "speckled Easter eggs" and since I often have white speckled eggs I figured I'd give it a go.

But tbh it looks like aquarium rocks

they were excited for their new "treat"

Got the vacuum unclogged once again, 1 1/2 rooms vacuumed , dinner done (microwave) couldnt do any more. Tom rubbed numbing ointment on my back so I could go feed the chickens then I helped with the littler box . And here I sit. I dont like the way my front room looks with clear access to the windows. 2 recliners in there so out of place , a bed , a buffet everything is jumbled . Cant tell what kind of room it is. Is it for sleeping, reading or looks ? LOL what a mess.
