I look for poofy heads, feathered shanks, and 5 toes.

I've only seen bantams 2x at TSC this year and there weren't very many (6-8) But I don't need anymore....this year.

For the scovy babies I put a 9x13 cake pan in with a puppy pad at the bottom. Then I used the McDonald's Halloween happy meal buckets and cut out spaces at the level they needed. Any juice or milk jug would work.

Apparently I used sherbet containers the first time.

By the time they needed the big pan, I was adding fresh bedding every day.

I usually steal them from Sally. or at least the basic premise. I didn't have the space/stuff to use her exact method.

Howdy back at ya! Great! And the purebred Ameraucana finally started laying at 8 months old!

I now have what I hope are 4 bantam EEs and 2 new bantam Brahmas. Downsizing the chickens!

Hi Kiki! I was at Lutcher Theater in Orange today. Went to a play with DD. I had lunch in LC with DH (sushi!) and TSC on the way home. I'm whipped!

 I feel your pain.  I surprised myself with 7 ducklings recently.  The mess!  OMG!

That's what my mom did. She surprised me with 6 chicks and 7 ducklings. The ducklings are hers but wants me to take care of them. The ducklings pen I clean out yesterday and it's completely sand. Hmm maybe I can do something about the watering can.
