I feel your pain. I surprised myself with 7 ducklings recently. The mess! OMG!
For the scovy babies I put a 9x13 cake pan in with a puppy pad at the bottom. Then I used the McDonald's Halloween happy meal buckets and cut out spaces at the level they needed. Any juice or milk jug would work.
Apparently I used sherbet containers the first time.
