I use them heat lamps too and I dont like them. Chicks are forever blowing the bulbs. They think its a play toy.

They can't get to this. It's sitting on top of hardware cloth.

I gave loudmouth YB (yolk butt) a friend to visit. YB pecked the poor thing for two straight minutes before I put the friend back in the brooder. Now YB is louder than ever.

I put a new pr. of sweat pants on after I finished with Star and I remember thinking, Wow, This is the first pair I have worn that actually fit my butt. They were a little tight in the stomach. I just went potty and realized I had them on backwards. hahaha Mama always said I didnt have no ask.

My brooders are stacking and the only wire is the front so I need to figure a different way to use them. The little bars that on the front of the light the guard I guess is what they jump on. They think it great fun .
