Flapjack had 6 babies and a zip that looked stuck so I helped. Shouldn't have, because then it started bleeding. I am tried to stop the blood, but not sure. Flapjack jumped back on the nest, so if it dies at least it was warm and safe under mama.

Happy Thursday! Our mini heat wave has ended, thank goodness! Staying under 80 today.

This has been a long week. Had repair guys out 4 separate times, and tomorrow morning a crew is coming from the phone company to trim trees near the poles. The main line that runs the length of our property needs to be replaced. Trimming the trees is the next step. Glad it's being done, but kind of a pain because the dogs have to be locked up. Has to be done though, or no byc for me!

couldnt sleep last night . horrible sense of dread on me. I heard things, people walking in the house. thought it was Tom , nope snoring away. Went to talk to Robert and told him what was going on. told him about under my bed for the last couple night. . He looked under the bed and said nothing there. I wasnt buying it. I stayed in my chair . Robert gets up today and says where is Shadow ? I havent seen him. He found him, under my bed. He has never gone in there before . He is dying. and he chose to do it right under me. We brought him out and put him in stars bed and in my bathroom. He wont drink. I gave Robert 3 choices . Vet for euthanasia, wait and see or try to put him down myself. I suggested the vet would be the best but pricy. He picked the vet. He has an appt tomorrow. It is the same day my mom passed.
