kinda proud of my cage today. Used that foldable dog pen ? I found 4 pieces of hard wire that formed the top and bottom and zip tyed them on then took some metal shelves and pounded the ends flat because I needed 2 of them and made a tray to catch all the nasty. They had to overlap so I didnt need to cut them. and the piece de la resistance was the door made from an old grill . LOL Oh and I also had some 6in. leftover pond liner that got attached all around the bottom.
I dont know about either but sure sounds fun !Nothing is worse than a drug addiction, except maybe a sex addiction
I think so, according to the younger teenage boy, but I don't have it. Stuck with 8.1Is windows 10 any better?
It too early for pointed hackles. Spur buds it has, but almost all of my pullets have those. Its hackles are pointed and do I see little spurs ?
Alley, you are giving me HOPE!Let me look back at the timing last year. I think Aussie did this. She's a manly lady lol
4x4 and maybe 3ft in height.
Oh my, already! They do show early... usually by 3 weeksseramas you can sex pretty quick. I have one crowing already.
I remember my Lorp pullet from 5 yrs ago and the SLW pullet turned pink in the wattles as chicks, but their combs stayed that peachy color. So I still have HOPE, but it sure is an aggressive little critter.Wishing here is Aussie my Australorp last year at 7.5 weeks. She's closest in the pic. The other is a BSL.View attachment 548946

If it is a male, don't you think the comb would turn by 8 wks? I can wait. sort of.![]()
Yeah, mine looks like a pullet comb with cockerel wattles. Guess I will be waiting!
That's what I'm hoping. I have had such terrible luck getting sexed pullet males. I would like to win this one!I would think the comb would be bigger and red by that age if male. All of my cockerels have red fleshy combs. My LF have turned red by 3 weeks.
Unless it's a late bloomer. BUT I wouldn't think it'd be aggressive if it was.It's a pullet!
