Hey y'all just woke up from a nap. Went outside to check chickens again and more rain. It's a muddy mess

The rain came down so hard and fast I am worried all the seed we planted yesterday may have washed away. I have yet to go and check. I also have to get the last two pens set up for the pigs and the sheep. this way I can rotate them between 6 pens and not just the three we have set up now.

I may be female I ended up with a voice that is too deep for me. IMO it is, but I also wish I was a tall wispy blonde that could eat anything and not gain an ounce.

I can look at food and gain weight. If I was a woman people would swear that I was pregnant.

We need to find who ordered all the rain and beat them. My house is sitting on a flat spot on the side of a hill. Most of the water runs under my house. My garden is at the top of the hill. The critter pens are part at the top of the hill, part at the bottom and a bit that has slope. I just an tired of the rain.

I'm here. Had bad storms go through last night. Rained hard enough at one point it woke both the husband and myself. Then I woke for the day later than I wanted. I am sore all over due to the storms and a mild headache.

Otherwise great!

How about you? Anybody else get hit with bad storms last night or just me lucking out on that.

We got probably the same system. tornado damage in town. also woke later then I wanted and stiff and sore.

We got mainly thunder and lightning and a little rain. Power went out from 2am to 7 am. Might not have noticed except I have two large dogs who are terrified of thunder.

Agreed! I've been wearing muck boots out to take care of the chickens. It should be warm and dry this time of year!

Sounds like the perfect spot to begin building an ark. Heard any voices calling your name from above recently?

I havent checked on the babies yet after out storm and outage. I dont think we were out very long . 2 hrs. maybe ?
