View attachment 1030547Anyone know what kind of wildflower this is? It's growing on a load of top soil I brought in and ain't scattered yet. Pretty little thing. Maybe I'LL scoop it up with a shovel and put it in a more convenient spot. Perhaps it will propagate.

very pretty BUT be careful I did that with a plant I liked at the farm and spread seads all over TURNS OUT to be Hensbane which can kill animals that eat it does something to the liver.

omg I am so wore out. got home , grocerys in, chickens fed and watered . Pup raising cain in the back yard. I thought about the possum so figured I better take a look.a baby kitten , cant be 5 weeks yet and its determined its coming in the yard and Bandit is just as determined to help it by eating my fence. He has it broke all to hell. Looks like a job for Robert. He walks over to the other side and here they come piling out of the bushes starved to death, eyes yucky, belly big from worms. He gathered them up , put them in my chicken cage without the first complaint of the chicken smell . head count 6.

Our pound /shelter wont take cats here. says shoot them. They need something for their eyes.

Wipe them out with warm water. Is nose nasty too? Eyes will keep getting yucky because they are infected so they need wiped out and flushed if you have sterile saline handy. URI aka feline herpes, kittens are most prone.

They might get better without antibiotics if it's just the eyes. Nose is a different story because of breathing.

BUT stress will always bring it on again regardless of treatment.

I dug a beautiful bright red fall tree and put it in the yard then went straight to hospital. Poison sumac.
