Okay going back to catch up after I post this but...couple reasons I can't say the pledge.

1. I don't know it off the top of my head. I know y'all have it memorized and all that but...I don't.

2. I don't pledge allegiance to the flag. I am and always will be Canadian. As long as I am here, I will follow the laws and respect the rule of the land but....I am not eligible for citizenship yet anyway, need a few more years of residency but even when it comes to it, I don't think I will because the oath for citizenship has you revoke and forswear previous citizenship. I can't and won't do that. Being Canadian is a huge part of what makes me me. All liberal hippie universal health care affordable post secondary education pro parental leave me. Besides, our countries have been allies for many years.

I know, that answer probably angered a few people. Ah well. I don't like half-donkey pledging or swearing of things.

I for one ADMIRE you being true to yourself and your upbringing. I also think you have come to a wonderful compromise

Jane, how old was GS on the riding mower the first time ? CB wants to ride mine. I thought him too young. he just turned 12.

Well it is official now and I can start listing the calves for sale on various web sites and such. Since I really really want to keep Hailey I am going to ask $3,000. for her and no wheeling or dealing.

got the support beams all cut and up and then Rod and I did the majority of the annex cleaning. Will have Vickie/little feller broom the walls and sweep it out good. Then straw and heater and ready for the "lings.

Then trip to menards for the siding. OF COURSE they didn't have what I wanted in the lengths I wanted so I Improvised with what they had.

Farm in the am , Rod and myself with start putting up the siding, and then in the afternoon the plan is to pour all the yaks, grope the little, and separate 19 and Maiah from the rest of the herd, Will keep those 2 in the tit until after they calve.
