Granny's gone and done it again

Angelwing is caused by too much or too little protein. I would switch your feed because 24% is high for chicks as well. Technically, more than 16% protein is excessive for ducks but many of us don't have duck chow or waterfowl starter available. Ducks do better on lower protein but if anything you could feed Purina Flock Raiser 20% protein or Nutrena All Flock 18% protein or Purina Start n Grow 18% (I think).

Ducks need extra niacin for leg growth which can be provided in drinking water. 500 mg tab/capsule to 5 gallons water.

@BantyChooks I thought i read that the angel wing and protein connection was disproved and its genetic.
