Oh, well. My cleaning program is moving very slowly. 81 in the house now. Feels cool compared to outside.I better get back to work.
There is a little bitty one out in the shed somewhere. Trouble is the room it's needed most in only has a sliding door. Big picture windows over the kitchen sink and counter do not open, so if we set it up, we lose use of the sliding door to the backyard and have to go out around through the garage. Hubs made a "window sill" out of a piece of plywood to set it up in, and we prop that up in the sliding door and close the door on it to keep the heat outside where it belongs. Being so close to the coast (about 40 miles), it almost always cools down at night into the 50s, and often we wake up to drippy fog. So really, we kind of have a built in air conditioner that way, and it's really only a few hours where it is uncomfortable in the house. But I am a big baby and cry and whine about it!
Humidity is low, 32% so it's bearable. Wind has picked up now, and it's already cooling down... 91 outside and the house is open to the breeze. Fear not! I will survive to bitch and moan another day.
