I think the idea is you are taking the Ambien when you have the pain meds on board. Have you asked WHY they want you on the pain pills 3x a day? Seems like you don't have pain steadily that you can't handle. Shouldn't take it if you don't need it.

thats right. I was in pain and had extra pain pills. She asked why I dont take them 3xs a day if I am in pain. I explained that they cause me to not sleep. So when I take the 3rd PP I also take the sleeping pill

And they just jump right into that stuff? Another addictive thing? I just tried to read about it... wouls take hours to get through it all, and nothing sounded good. Why not try something like melatonin for you... safer and cheaper.

I have tried melatonin. Plus that crap she gave me a couple months ago that caused me to sleep for like 2-3 days . She said its not addictive and she dont expect me to take it every night. She gave 20 pills.
I have asked for valium. Its what I used to use for sleep. It is also a muscle relaxer and worked well for me. Its been around forever and safe .

Then why in the world won't they give you valium instead? Are they trying to get you get you addicted?

Valium is very addictive also. But then again so are your pain pills, thus they have you going to a pain clinic to monitor you. My pain pills can also keep me awake so I try not to take them before bed.

valium is also addictive. aspirin is addictive . valium is anti-depressive ? Dont quote me. It is abused by many. or used to be anyway. It worked for me. She doesnt understand that. Like the PP now. I dont feel stoned on them. They take the edge off the pain and cause me to not sleep. But tons feel "high" . I have no idea what that is like because I dont feel it.

and, I am going to bed. I will try it and see how I feel in the am. I wasnt supposed to eat so it may not work. Update in the am.
