Granny's gone and done it again

I know it's got to be bumble. I'm sure infection got into that cut I saw on the bottom of her foot a long time ago. Even though your not seeing a bumble sore. My big roo has been like that. Treated the bumble he had, everthing looked cleared up & then he started limping again. No visible bumble, but lots of swelling. I cut into the topside of his foot where the swelling was the worest & sure enough I squeezed out a bumble core. Make sure yo wear some rubber gloves messing with that. We dont need you getting a staph infection.
thats why I dont want to eat her. Well that and she is a pet. One of her back toes looks like someone tied a string around it.

She is in pain. Her feet have been swelled for a while and she walks with a limp. Yesterday I noticed even her toes are 5xs normal size.
Wonder what is wrong? Poor girl.

Morning/afternoon all ~ glad to read that Camping is safe with all these storms everywhere. Be safe Jane, prayers for no tornadoes. We were suppose to get a nasty storm come thru last night. It must be running behind. We did get rain through the night & it's very windy right now, but other than that we'really good so far. Granny, sorry to hear the Roberts ears are acting up again. I wonder if the barometric pressure changes causes it. I get headaches from the barometric changes. It's horrible when your body is supper sensitive to things. Ally, sorry to hear that 2 of your silk eggs didn't make it. Shipped eggs can be so difficult, especially on the banty size eggs. I don't think I mentioned to you all about one of my chicks that hatched 2 weeks ago. I have a bird that for whatever the reason her AC are always a saddle aircell. Haven't had problems before with the chicks that hatched from them, but this time the saddle was huge. As the chick started getting wing feathers I noticed something amiss. The chick is healthy as a horse, but it's one wing is deformed. It curls up on its back instead of being on its side & where the wing connects to its body it's like the bone is curled over. It's just weird, will wait and see on the sex of the chick, but with my luck it will be a hen instead of my usual roo hatchings.

Thanks :hugs I keep thinking if I would have listened to granny and laid them on their side they would have lived.

You HAVE to name it Nemo if it's a girl! At least you won't have to worry about it flying away.

 Now your gonna get Twist started. I have one.

Yeah but that's a BORING boot! I wouldn't wear it! I think it needs blinged up! Maybe some chickens and vines or trees :D

what is PC ? Kenny is my favorite . well, he used to be til someone said he looked like my dad. LOL
Politically correct :-) Were you a fan of the music he did in the late 60's? Check out "Just dropped in" by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition on uTube some time. Who ever wrote them lyrics were tripping Maaaan. Lol

Don't beat yourself up about the silkie eggs hun. Hatching shipped eggs is really hard. The smaller the egg, the easier it is for them to be messed up from shipping. I've hatched my fair share of shipped eggs & let me tell you if I got even close to what you got to hatch I would have been doing great. I had 76 shipped eggs in & got like 14 chicks. Most of them were malpositioned & I had to assist. The rest died in shell. Swore I would never buy shipped eggs again. but I have lol
