thanks ya'll. It had to be infection and I never would of found it. was on the side of the back toe in one place. No dark bumble scabs on that foot at all. Other foof there was . Same place Lisa seen it when she was here.

Hard to treat something that you can't find. You definitely done the right thing. You can rest easy knowing that if you hadn't have done nothing she would've really suffered. I know that that doesn't really help your feelings but hopefully it does a little anyway. That's the one thing that I don't like about having animals. Sometimes we have to make the hard decisions.

Alley, look at silkies on ideal poultry. U can get the assortment for 3.47/each i think for chicks. My BRs i got from them were healthy. BO roo they put in free isn't purebred. Would like to have red, blue, & partridge silkies. They are straight runs.

Just think about how she doesn't feel pain now. Her weight probably didn't help her feet.

I'll make you a deal. If these turn out to be pullets I'll send you a bunch of eggs in the spring I plan to get more eggs so I can have a decent size flock.

Are they bearded? I checked all the hatcheries awhile back but it was gonna cost me about $80 total to get them.

gonna make me cry and I dont cry over culling chickens, turkey. She was so sweet. I might try another sometime but one that isnt the big eating kind.

Ally, you being able to put your fingernail through the shell tells me the eggs went much to begin with. Order from someone else.

I plan to. I'd tap them the last 2 candles and shell was fine.

3rd egg was paint and I don't think it could get through the membrane. No movement. It was moving this morning.
