X2. Someone smack my patties and tell me hatching season is over unless I want pullets in the house all winter with bad frostbite.making me want to hatch again. I aint I aint !!!!!
If I tried that stunt I'd have over 70 birds by now. I have 3 constant broodies, one of which looks like she's going broody for the 3rd time in her life---and she's only 10 months old. The other goes broody as soon as she weans her chicks, and the other hides clutches EVERYWHERE. Behind the nest box, in the chick pen...I've never hatched but I just let chickens do what chickens do and.generally wind.up with plenty.

Rain and chickens just don't mix huh. After all the rain last night my chicken runs look like duck pens. Doesn't help that my chickens LOVE mud and water. So I threw some straw down for some dry spots.
My younger chicks are in separate coops. As I was bending down I heard a screech. Almost banged my headit was the younger bantam Cochin trying to crow lol so there's 2 in that coop crowing.
