But boy did they taste good, haven't had a good bird since.I'd bet money on it.
As much as I read, i truly believe what they eat matters for many different things.
I agree...but if she want's better hatch rates it's something she should consider.Granny, you do what you can do & that's all you can do.
Lol. Sounds like you have plenty to spare.I'll supply the kiddos. Need more than one? Buy one, get one free---this week only.![]()
She can send me one or two..I'd put them to work real quick!Lol. Sounds like you have plenty to spare.
Kiki, my comment to granny was not meant towards you, so please don't be offended. I just didnt want her to feel bad because I know she is doing all she can do.I agree...but if she want's better hatch rates it's something she should consider.
I never tell Granny to change her feed...but since she brought up the subject about her eggs not hatching I thought I could share me 3 cents.
Granny could be one that never even buys feed and lets your chickens live off the land and I wouldn't tell you what to do. You know this right!?!
Grit is usually only needed if you feed them anything besides feed, but since they have access to outdoors I think they should always have grit.Im feeding Flock raiser and calcium on the side and grit. I dont know how much if any grit is avalible in the run so I have been adding and I give the babies chick grit before I move them to the serama coop.
That would help lol.And my first born son?
