Granny's gone and done it again

What a job. from 1:00 ? when ever Twist run me off til 7:20 with one 5 min break for coffee and another pill. I came in, put a frozen dinner in (eggplant) and jumped in the shower. I got the whole yard this time. Only got smacked twice. Seen what I thought was a nest of quail eggs but looking closer looked like a mushroom. No stem just round white egg shaped things but the were bumpy.Kinda cool looking. One of the cats working on a rabbit. Feel like I been beat half to death.
At least you can stop fretting about the grass now, for what... about 2 weeks?

Idk where the white wing feather came from! Oh and the babies are already sprouting tail feathers!

What breed id the chick? My hatchery Australorp pullet (yay Spike!) has white on wing feathers like that too. Read that those usually fall out and she will be pure black as intended. She really has a lot of green in her feathers. Love them.

Awwww twist look at that. Now she's smacking me. I knew this night would get better.
Red, you had me cracking up tonight! Gimme your address... think I need to send my big rolling pin to Pearl.

They are mixes. Think this ones has a Aussie mom. But the mom's didn't have white as chicks. Maybe they'll lose it.

Oh my bantam Cochins are 10 weeks and still have the white under the wing. Seen one flash it yesterday.
