them that are due SS checks on the 3rd are in the bank today. Shouldnt be til mon. as thats not a holiday tuesday is but I guess they are in.

What rights were taken away? Everybody who applied for a visa doesn't get one. It's not a right. Sorry but that was a confusing post & Trump isn't the cause of all that.

Okay. Canada is a visa waiver country with the us. You don't need a visa to go visit. Other countries, you do. Normally to get turned away you have to show intent to stay without a visa or have a criminal record. Or have them suspect you are up to nefarious plots. The one case was a lady going stateside for some batchelorette spa and shenanagins. She had a Muslim sounding name, but was a Canadian citizen. Nope. Couldn't cross the border for a weekend. This was right after ban v1.0 went into effect.

Let me expand on the earlier bit. My sadness was that with the Muslim ban v1.0, people who ALREADY had visas issued or were ALREADY bearing green cards got turned away. Yes they eventually did untangle that mess but imagine the stress of going to your home country to visit your family and then getting told nope, you gotta go back, you're not welcome here, even though your life, job, etc is on the American side now.

And yes, I am laying that at trump's feet. He signed that executive order.

Mornings, 6 hrs again. I think I will see if I can take Papas sleeping meds. Sounds like they are working well for him. Pretty sure my problem is I aint doing enough to tire myself out. I know people dont sleep as much as they age I just didnt know I was at that age.

Haha. I met him online, through a Volvo forum of all places. We started chatting and one year he invited me down for New Year's Eve in the desert, so away I went. The rest was history, and after a bit of time we spent a few more years arguing who should move where...lol

Jane, that's tough. Although it may be even worse if you were heavier. Have you ever tried any of the glucosamine and chondroitin? My hubs was using it and it helped him.
