Granny's gone and done it again

Wishings big dog Bella had to be put down yesterday. and at the farm they were planning on putting Corky down as well but he passed first.

Sorry to you both. It's always tough losing an animal. Especially when you've had them a while. to you both.

This is what all of you 70+ year old, and yet to be, kids have to look
forward to!!

This is something that happened at an assisted living center.

The people who lived there have small apartments but they all eat at a
central cafeteria. One morning one of the residents didn't show up for
breakfast so my wife went upstairs and knocked on his door to see if
everything was OK. She could hear him through the door and he said that he
was running late and would be down shortly so she went back to the dining
area.

An hour later he still hadn't arrived so she went back up towards his room
and she found him on the stairs. He was coming down the stairs but was
having a hard of time. He had a death grip on the hand rail and seemed to
have trouble getting his legs to work right. She told him she was going to
call an ambulance but he told her no, he wasn't in any pain and just
wanted to have his breakfast. So she helped him the rest of the way down the
stairs and he had his breakfast.

When he tried to return to his room he was completely unable to get up even
the first step so they called an ambulance for him. A couple hours later she
called the hospital to see how he was doing. The receptionist there said he
was fine, he just had both of his legs in one leg of his boxer shorts.

Can't remember if I told yall or not . But a few mornings ago I told pearl that I was going to let the chickens out. The kids had spend the night company. So I get ready and start to walk out of the room when Pearl asked me was I planing on going out dressed like that. I asked her what was wrong with the way I was dressed. I mean good Lord all I'm doing is going out to the chickens. Wasn't like we were going to town. She then tells me to look at my wardrobe. Hmmm shirts fine, flip flops were a little dirty but not to bad. My underwear looked fine. Then it hit me. I hadn't brushed my teeth yet. I was wrong again. That's when she told me that I had forgotten my pants.

Think I'm going to have to get the other brooder out. The bigger ones are a week old and I can already see 2 Roos in the making.

Granny, my husband is over yo pick up that chicken and her coop. I don't have any idea where i can put it. Needs to be quarantined

maybe ya'll can help me pick the spot ? next to the pond is where I would like it and think it loo best but there is a smallish willow there . It hasnt grown in 4 yrs . I can cut it down but roots.. next spot is on a grassy knoll too far away for the hose but better dirt. Or I can stick it in my secret garden and no one but me will even see it. No barriers.

well I you aren't the one stuck actually digging the hole put it where you truly want it.

Maybe the willow needs to be "ruffed up" and then it will grow.
