Yes that's a thought. It too bad you couldn't put a place for someone to live ( not sure what, a little trailer) someone that could do the heavy work around there.
I know if my husband wasn't here I would have to hire someone or sell. I couldn't keep this place up.

the problem is finding able bodied/healthy minions

I asked about that long time back. It was a big fat no from zoning board.

Aspergillus was what was killing the chickens in the CA thread. She moved them, and only lost one more that had been weak. There's no cure. Don't know what kind yours might have but think it's wise to change out your feed.
Take the feed back to the store you got it at. They should replace it. Sometimes i think it is bagged too quickly and gets moldy. I have never had a feed store refuse to replace moldy feed.
