Granny's gone and done it again

Good luck. :fl

I'm just trying to imagine what chicken poop looks like against iridescent yellow.

Sure does. I don't wanna spend hours with that heavy snow rake getting the roof clear every time yet another storm system comes thru.

'Women's work' was never an insult to me. Stick a man in the kitchen and tell him to make bread? Most times he'd be stumped. We're the ones that feed y'all with good food, and ain't nothing to be shamed about there.

North.
Darned tootins on the women's work!! I'd like to see that man of mine do what I do....(hint: it just wouldn't happen)

Okay back to my catch up

Can't argue with that. I think there are generally roles that are filled more often by one gender vs another, but a girl not knowing how to change a tire or build something and a man being ignorant on how to fold socks is just silly.

I swear there's a cultural thing down here. One of the other girls gets mad at me when I change the water cooler at the office. "We have all these men!" Uh yeah but I emptied it. And though yes most of our menfolk are able bodied, one just got back from triple bypass. I don't want HIM doing it!!! (He saw me doing it though when he was talking with the yard foremen and I guess said something to him about it cause then I get Oscar "jeez Kat you're making me look bad!!" Dude, no, I emptied it. If I needed you to do it I would have asked you but you got your own stuff to do.

Hubs. He doesn't cook. He doesn't do laundry. Housework is only under complete duress. He expects me to know how to sew buttons back on his shorts/pants (yeah oops). The thought of me wrenching on my car sends him into spasms (though yes, I can do minor things like oil changes, spark plugs, tire changes...)
Men down in this small town California are so terrified of doing anything that may skew feminine....its ridiculous.

Catch-up part two!!
