Y'all my mom is giving me a hard time because I don't want to go on vacation with her. #1 I don't have the extra cash laying around after the new coop. And #2 she wants the neighbors to watch my chickens. They are cruel to animals and I refuse.

TBH I just don't want to go anywhere. This summer off hasn't really been "off". And time is winding down. I want to relax, read and watch movies. I don't want to be doing something everyday that I hate. And she's being a sensitive Sally saying I hurt her feelings because I won't go.

Where foes she want to go? She doesn't pay your way?

Just be yourself, the good people will like you and the jerks you don't want to know anyway. Remember, once you get out of school you probably will never see those people again unless you want to. Just go with the flow.

One year won't be too bad. Stay away from the jocks. You'll find a few friends that you have common classes with. Research the school, I'm sure they have a website so you can get a feel of things beforehand. Maybe you'll be able to pick your classes.
