It's been on the cooler side the last 3-4 days
Awww, he was such a sweet boy. Thank you for finding that. I'm not happy with the new system for posting pictures, still trying to get used to it, and to make matters worse, my computer took it upon itself to upgrade to Windows 8.1, and it changed the system for my pics on the computer. Not much, but it doesn't take much to throw me off... dang computer.
I'm hoping that's what happens with Spike. She's not mean at all, but hope she gets friendlier.
I didn't know you were having another dry summer up there. I remember Lindalouly worrying about it last year. We've just been having the terrible heat. Nice today, though.
What lovely hair. Just keep using that comb and washing everything and laundry and shampooing a lot. You'll beat them eventually.(I hope) Maybe DD would want to be a bleach blonde.I bet bleach would kill those nasty critters.
We have had a squirrel in the back yard since early spring. Scooter's heart's desire is to get that squirrel. I have not seen it in a couple of weeks, and I know the dog didn't get it...
Wish Ethel is a BSL. But she acted like a roo. I was freaking out because I thought there was a mix up even though her colors were right. I'm betting Spike is just a manly lady.

I was sitting in my deer stand a few years ago watching a squirrel eating corn in the field. All of a sudden That squirrel took off faster than I've ever seen a squirrel move. I finally realized that there was a hawk flying across the field and that what made that squirrel move so fast. I mean honestly you couldn't tell was it was. All I saw was a streak fly past my stand . Funny how they can't make up their mind which way to run when you're trying to avoid hitting them with your car but they rocket in a straight line to the treeline when they see a hawk.Awww, he was such a sweet boy. Does everyone on this thread nap every day? Got the clothes up drying, now i need to water the grass and run the extension cords up to where i am building my coop. BBL

I don't nap as much as some of my elders do on here. But the older I get, The nicer those nap times becomes lol.
Well I have to get back on the road. Bbl. in about 4 hrs.

I rest/nap every day. Chicken leg quarters, bbque sauce, kale, fried green maters & squash for lunch today.
