Granny's gone and done it again

Not at all sure how things work up there. In Texas, we have social workers and discharge planners at all our large and regional hospitals that help with these things. In addition, we have many nonprofits, and even still some state funded groups, that assist the elderly and disabled population get to/from hospital stays, doctors appointments, rehab/therapy, and such. Even pharmacy delivery and meals, home care/assistants for daily hygiene and housekeeping can be arranged. I hope she has access to at least a decent discharge planner where she's at.

Power off, on, off, on . . . Couldn't get back to sleep. Aching bones from building a coop for a month too! Home stretch though, and got a big strapping young man to help tomorrow. He's not too bright, but he's tall and strong, and can follow simple instructions, and means well. Perfect for roofing.

What's your excuse?

If you look at the map it is about the same either way . I thought about that last night and even looked it up , but my mind was so tired I couldn't even figure out how to articulate that in writing . 48 miles to Louisville and 72 to Cinncy
I just knew that IN is west of OH, and Cinncinati is on the eastern edge of OH, & OH's a wiiiiide state

I doubt that seriously! I was in for several days in February, & just about the time I'd doze off there's be someone else with an accent I couldn't understand wanting to take my vitals again.
And draw blood. I was mighty happy to get out of there.... I pity granny's nurses.

Ok, granny update

Granny update, neighbor/friend got back with me. She was the one to call up to the hospital to check on granny. The only thing they would tell her because she isn't family, is that granny is in ICU & is stable. Friend is going tomorrow posing as grannys daughter to see her. She said she will let me know how she is doing after her visit. She will check on the boys, help with food stuff & have her kids help with grannys birds. Will let you all know something when I know something.

I have also talked to Konner again a few minutes ago. Asked him if he told mom, he said she is out, so she doesn't know yet. Not certain if out means gone or if she's sleeping. Feel so bad to have to burden that sweet child with such serious business. He loves his Nana so much, he busted out crying when I told him, then he composed himself so he could listen closely to what I had to tell him :hit
:( Thank you for the update.

I'm up early often but I go to bed with the chickens and a pinched nerve in my back won't let me sleep

I've been going to bed early too, more nights than not. So hot lately it just saps my energy. Naps too, during the heat of the day. At least I get laundry and such done without folks getting in my way, being up so early. And just straightened my spice cabinet!

I have zero intact discs in my lumbar spine, so I sure can sympathize about the pinched nerve. I think mine got pinched into submission. Got a numb place or two around my knees, doctor said nerve damage. And then said I have degenerative disc and joint disease. Oh well, I got most of my mileage in during my younger years. Don't need that many more now.

The hospital is no place to get any rest , I tell them to leave me be after 11pm . I'm usually wearing a heart monitor so if I'm dead it should show !!!! LOL
