I've been working on it, and for lack of a better word, I'm less 'dependent' on it than I used to be. I'm still crabby when I don't have it but I don't just melt into a snarling puddle.

What? That's what they call them in TN. Lived there 7 years, so i soaked up some of their terms. It is kind of funny, though.

Well, the doctors don't know who has a license and who doesn't. The doctors just discharge people when they are ready or when the insurance gives out, whichever comes first.

Then the doctors should be made aware! Is common sense no longer PC in this country?

After I'd tried, unsuccessfully (from a wheelchair) to keep an expensive piece of equipment from bouncing off the floor 'cause a Nurse Practitioner set it on the edge of a bed, and a nurse had jostled my catheter tube, I tried to tell them they'd better check it, but they insisted it was alright. Later that day, after they had to change all the sheets, I told them they be well served to pay attention the next time I told them something wasn't right. I didn't feel a bit sorry for them!

Like when I was in labor and I told them I needed to poop. Oh no you don't wouldn't let me get up. So I pooped all over the nice clean bed.

My mother has no self control at all with chocolate. Gave her a box for mothers day and she ate the whole box in one day.
