Granny's gone and done it again

Did you know that White leghorns are basically black bird withe Bared patern? (CC/BB)
But because they have an epistatic gene called Dominant white (I)
That cancel any production of black and Brown (but not red!) They are white.
For Epistasis read this.

white is black, black is white. This is the lesson those in VA. need to learn.

Rain threatening here again. Got a bunch of little stuff done before it slipped completely through the cracks. Grow room ready and growing. Also got so sweaty I nearly slipped out of my crocs in the kitchen when I went to get ice. Literally dripping on the floor. Eeeewwwww.

All showered and wearing as little as possible now. Haha! Cooking bolognese with sweet Italian sausage over pasta for dinner. All my own home grown veggies AND herbs too! HE is prouder of that than I am. He's never had a woman garden for him. :lau Little did he know what he was getting!

Forgot to make bread dough, so garlic toast it is. Oh well, I never said I was perfect.

that makes sense to me wishing . thank you. I am glad you are my teacher. Its too bad the pay sucks.
Well, I get a lot of laughs and the occasional hug, so it's all good! :)

See granny, here's a prime example of what I was talking about. You think the bird is white, but it's not, genetically speaking! Then you could have a different white bird, like a Rock or an Ameraucana, and the genes making it white are different than the Leghorns... or are they? Because you rarely know the breeding that went into a bird unless you get one that is the product of many generations of carefully controlled breeding.
