HE's old friend, a professional electrician, came by to consult on some work we desperately need done on our old money pit, and getting electric to my henhouse. He fell in love with my garden and the biddies. Loves the idea of green and blue eggs too. He's going to barter produce and eggs (understanding they are a ways off yet) for some of the work. I sent him off with some fresh cukes, a cantaloupe, and a jar of the spicy bread n'butter pickles I just made. He had a few of those pickles while he was here and couldn't stop eating them. Nice young man. I'm thrilled! I'll get my new circuits for my big plant lights, my fans, and electric for the henhouse. Plus some regular house wiring things we need done around here. HE isn't into detail-oriented things, and while I can rewire a lamp, much past that might be getting into dangerous territory. .

It is always great using barter. I am excited about the three chickens i got today. Waiting to see if eggs will be blue when they are old enough!

I found a blue wind egg 2 of them 2nd one a bit larger. It had something in it looked nasty. A start of a yolk then some thing that looked like a white chalice with a seed attached. I would of took pictures but the cat ate it.
