Granny's gone and done it again

its nice Ally, I am wondering why you used hardwear cloth? What could get in there except chickens ? I mean, wouldnt cheeper chicken wire of served the same purpose or what am I missing ?

It's what I had a roll of on hand. Plus I want to be able to leave the door open in the summer.

It's in the middle of the double doors but the whole left of the building is their coop area. I only took a small part for the storage.

It's wider than it is deep. I still need to paint the trim.

@KikisGirls Why cant you give vitamins and corrid together ?
Coccidiosis thrives on thiamine..a B vitamin.
If you give Corid and vitamins at the same time it reduces the effect of the Corid.
You may not "kill" all the Coccidiosis. I read it in a vet book.
It's been proven.

Not sure about that. Never heard not to give vitamins, but generally, it's best to treat one thing at a time if possible. Corid works in the gut, and blocks the coccidia from absorbing thiamine, which causes them to die. It could be that vitamins interfere with the corid's ability to block the thiamine. You'd have to look on the instructions to see if you should.

OR, you could just go back and reread Kiki's answer!

So I got the chooks moved to the new shed, they're a bit cramped but not overly so.

The old coop has 1/2 the shingles, both doors, most of the windows, and some wall boards off. Bedding is 90% out, hopefully I'll be good enough to finish tomorrow.

Here's pictures...

http://www.armchairpatriot.com/Home-Vet/Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook [Desk Ed.] 6th ed. - D. Plumb (Blackwell, 2008) WW.pdf

Specifically this paragraph:
Pharmacology/Actions

By mimicking its structure, amprolium competitively inhibits thiamine utilization by the parasite. Prolonged high dosages can cause thiamine deficiency in the host; excessive thiamine in the diet can reduce or reverse the anticoccidial activity of the drug.

Most all feed/food already has thiamine in it so by giving the chicken "extra" vitamins makes it turn "excessive".
