Well, it is supposed to work by scraping the exoskeletons of bugs and they dehydrate. So it would take a while. Same as borax. Not going to kill like RAID.

DE works best to keep bugs out of feed... most feeds have it mixed in. I had ants in the chicken run after the water and sprinkled a circle of DE around the waterers. Ants stopped coming. Borax will take a little longer to work, but it's not so toxic and kills the whole colony, so you don't have them popping up in a few weeks after they find a new way in. My ant problem was gone in 2 days, and they never came back. Borax doesn't stink either, so that's better for me.

Ugly pup must be working some. That fool dog has barked this whole day long. I kept fussing at him to hush and that would make him bark louder I stood up and instead of chasing him I pointed at the floor and said come here ! He froze, flopped and gave me his belly. Just now He is barking away, I stood up and he run behind my chair but he hushed for a sweet min. and is laying down now.

Anyone have any clues on how to get rid of a groundhog? Never had one before but that might be what it is.
