Yum! Leftover chicken nuggets and smiley fries here. I cleaned up a rotten, exploded egg in the coop so I'm not really hungry.

I found the secret place where the UNbroody hens are laying, and found a separate nest of duck eggs. SO things are looking up!

Went out and pulled weeds, and put the plastic wire holders on the fence. Need to check on the livestock before the sun goes down. Picture shows our log cabin.

She was getting ready for company last I saw. I just got back from delivering chickens to their new owner. Nice place, very nice lady.

Thanks, it is a nice place. Kitchen has granite countertops, but no dishwasher besides me. There is a loft where my bedroom is and a bathroom , shower but no tub. Wooden floors, outside walls are wood too. Beautful back deck, full width of the house, but no staircase! Just a hole in the railing where one belongs. So we still have work to do. Besides building a chicken coop!

Kajira (somewhere down there) gets crazy high prices too. What's up with southerners paying exorbitant prices for POL pullets?

Guess I'm not far enough south. Heck we can hardly find anyone willing to pay $1 for 18 eggs. Much less chickens.

In June. No place established for a garden. Dead end driveway, we had a circular drive put in and a pad for the storage buildings that are coming Thursday.
