Granny's gone and done it again

This is why I don't say much on here. We all are from a different culture and different ways I'm sorry if I said anything out of line. But I don't think it's a sign of disrespect to wear what you want too I know my parents wouldn't care as long as I was there. By the way I wore dress slacks to their services. My bil was always in Levi shorts or jeans. He sure wouldn't care if I wore jeans to his. I did. I'll bbl. still dizzy and things to do.
what you said was fine danna, Wishing was afraid she had offended you and didnt mean to.

everyone has their own ways and no on faults the others . I dont even want a funeral. Straight cremation for me. I think Mother earth has enough problems without adding me to it. Now if I could come back as a tree that would be perfect in my book . Plus I guess I really dont care what others think. LOL

No, I sure don't think it's disrespectful, but my MIL had a different view and expectations of her family (my nickname for her was The Dragon Lady!), so we will honor her as we can. As far as everyone else, she was live and let live. I'm sure there will be mourners in slacks and shorts, and they will be very welcome.
