Actually, domestic mice make excellent pets. I raised them and sold them to pet stores.

I had a cute little mouse for awhile... was a classroom pet abandoned by a teacher that moved away. I couldn't stand the smell. Cleaned that cage every 2 days, and still couldn't stand it. Now rats I like. I had one that was like a dog, came when I called her. I watched her being born and she died in my hands. She lived over 4 and half years.

Don't worry, granny, we're keeping the kids close. Dad is worried that it didn't seem more afraid of me. It's coat was ratty and gross, and I wonder if it wasn't sick. We'll be watching everything extra close.

Finally caught up. Went looking for backsplash tiles. No luck. 6 hrs wasted. Told dh before we went to let me order on line. NOW he agrees.
