Granny's gone and done it again

granny, the total eclipse is closer to you than I thought. Wish I was going to be there! We are only getting about 75% of the sun covered... or is it 25%? Can't remember.
I was checking to see if you were going to be out driving at that time. It peaks after around 2:30 for you. https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/usa/louisville
It's 3 hrs earlier her, so peaking around 11:30. Hope the fog burns off. 10am right now, and it's still thick out there... no sign of the sun.

Ugh.

I need to send my husband to a budgeting for dummies class or something.

So lately he's had a bee in his bonnet about getting his shop done. Okay. So I can tweak the budget to accommodate that. Especially if he does some side jobs.

Now he comes up to me after his morning bm showing me a new focus rs or whatever the fancy one is. "Oh $400 a month!" And then he doesn't have to worry about my car.

Y'all know what my car needs? A valve body (transmission part - cost about 800-900 bucks) and brakes. So two/three months worth of payments on said new car.

And then it'd be good for a while. And we wouldn't have exhorbatent insurance rates (full vs basic coverage) AND stupid registration costs (seriously California WHY)

Seriously hubs. Just fix my car and call it a day.
