Hi grannyland, @willzpapa sorry about you cutting your finger. You've got grannys dark cloud hovering over you this past week. First the leg, now this. We better put you the rubber room, lol. Hope it heals fast, just think now you don't have to do dishes.
@granny hatchet Hi hun, bet you are exhausted, kiddos are a lot of work. Next time you buy big packs of burger buy a big can or 2 small cans of Hunts Manwich for sloppy joes. The same amount of burger or maybe even less could give you 2 meals instead of one. Just buy extra buns, reheats in the microwave nicely. @Dannachic I agree with Jane, vine looks like pumpkin to me as well. @CapricornFarm how are you feeling today after your fall? @campingshaws hope your little goat gets fixed up fast. Never heard of hoof rot, but have never owned anything with hooves either. @jane s chickens glad to hear that your hip is doing better. @h2oratt how did your fish turn out last night? I know I'm forgetting lots, but just wanted to drop in and say Hi. Got all coops cleaned, the gardens picked & veggie stand stocked. Made a whole $1.00 today in wages. Talk about pathetic, I told hubby a few days ago that I refuse to kill myself for nothing after this season. The big veggie stand that went in up at the intersection has really hurt us. I will still have a garden for our own use & for canning, but I'm done picking & throwing out limp veggies. Chickens love it, but my back, not so much. Well hubs just called to say he was on his way home so I had better figure something out for dinner. Will be back later if I'm not to tired.

My fish was not very good. I need to get some panko crumbs in my cupboard.

hi, I have filed for food stamps , went to the grocery bought 2 BIG packs of hamburger . Plan on making burgers and chips for dinner. It could be 2 weeks before "emergency stamps". 2 small chicken breasts and a bag of noodles for soup . Spend $50.00 get a free watermelon and it is huge. still need to go through their clothes , more phone calls and torture chamber. I am exhausted already. LOL

Ask DD for her big crock pot. Might save you some time.

CPS, I need to get appt for fingerprints, all kids have 10 days to go to the dr. These boys went to school looking like little bums . They are going to get some new clothes in a day or 2 . I have to find out what kind of insurance they have aka; blue cross... then call them and find out who their dr is. they havent been there. I will be glad when all the paperwork is done. It stresses me.

Bums with brand new shoes! Most times you can't even get an appointment in 10 days here. They are usually scheduled out 3 weeks or more. Crazy. Hope your washing machine is in good shape... it's going to get a work out!

What is this vine taking over my yard. I googled it. Could be a bunch of things. It's came from my compost pile. Yellow blooms.

I vote pumpkin. Wish things would grow like that around here!
