I've got a batch of salsa to can up tomorrow. Hubs finally tasted his batch that I made last week for him. I don't like it super hot, but he does. He says it's got good flavor. All I could taste was hot. Tongue & lips burned for a half hour after lol. It's not super hot though, he didn't break out with sweat on his forehead.

Only time I ever worked with clay was in high school many years ago. Let's just say it's a good thing my grade wasn't dependant on how successful I was at pottery haha.

It takes a long time to become proficient at it. The instructor named me the texture Queen because i always make some design on everything.

I sure miss working with clay. Even dream about it.

I was so excited to work on the wheel but I never could get the hang of it. I did build a pretty cool tea pot (decorative) and a lighthouse with my hands though. And mixing glaze colors to get cool results. I dream about it too. I've not done clay in 6-7 years.

They did a nerve block in the finger before they sowed it up, the feeling come back in it about 3am what an alarm clock, and I have a high tolerance for pain lol

Yikes, cutting fingers hurt. The pulsating of your blood pressure pounding in the finger is painful. I slipped off a philips screw head about a month ago. Drove the bit into my finger. Of course it was on something I should have predrilled, but I was in a hurry. Pretty long screw so I was pushing hard & trying to keep the screw straight. I had a very pretty purple screw head pattern on the tip of my finger. Darn thing swelled & that pulsating sure hurt.

Kiss, the little kitten with a flat ribcage, fell off the rafter log today and landed on the carpet. Poor little guy was pretty shaken. Nothing broken, because he is walking ok, but moving slow. I hate to admit it, but he is my fav. Always purring and rubbing up against my ankles. Lots smaller than the other 2.

I use my salsa a lot when cooking soups. Chili & few others I add a jar of salsa for addition flavor.
