Granny's gone and done it again

I blew a tire going across a bridge with a truck full of feed! I was a couple miles from home and had no cell phone. Luckily, i knew someone who lived near by. I walked there, called husband and he got someone to come put a new tire on.

That is like when you break your toe. Everyone has to step on your foot. Dogs, cats, kids and random people.

My dogs just know when I hurt somewhere. Then they stand or jump on it

I fell asleep. never even seen it coming.
Robert is in the front room trying to put bed together. Its a million pieces as I knew it would be. Tom asked if he wanted help he said no, He asked again and he said NO ! Tom got mad and pouted in his room. I went in there and said, why are you mad ? Isnt that what we have been trying to do? Raise an independent adult ? You should be proud .

Before I left I said "hey DH, you want a quick visit to the farm to see everything?" He declined. Now I'm down two keets, because he didn't lock them up, because he "didn't know."

I'm really upset about it. The next time I see white/lavender keets I'm getting 6.

Met my guardian angel today. He stopped and changed my flat (I was trying and struggling). On i-10 west of Baton Rouge. The guy at the tire shop a mile away was going to charge $150.

I stopped at Walmart in Breaux Bridge and got one. Had to travel half an hour on the donut. LUCKILY most of that was the atchafalaya basin bridge (speed limit 60) and the rest was construction zone. So I didn't have to drive 55 while everyone else was 75+

I was going home from New Orleans, a 3-hour trip. I was right at halfway when it blew.

A couple weeks ago the other rear tire got a big hole. Looked like someone had punched the sidewall. Guess dry rot was the culprit in both.
