Ally, its been way over a yr. They are coal black and last time they were cut she bled for 2 days. I held her for hrs.

Black nails are hard cause you can't see the quik. I just try to get those short enough not to click on hard wood. Then carefully snip a bit more. All 3 indoor dogs have em. I tried candling once to see if I could tell

Never heard a dog whinny. Had a horse once that would bark on command for treats, though.

Haha! She does though. She makes to oddest sounds. From a coon dog bay to chirping like a bird. All 3lbs of her

She's currently trying to evade to nail clippers. So she climbed up my chest and laid down. She's too squirmy.
