The bones make the meat and broth more flavorful. I pull the skin off if it's going in soup or stew to reduce the fat, but I'd much rather have meat with the bones in it.chicken is on. not sure why I dont get boneless. Cooked the ramen noodles and added some eggs for the chickens.
Oh yes. Me too. 60*F with no sun is perfect for me. See how I put that little red Fahrenheit unit in there? Did that just for you! Been missing you. Are you back here permanently, or was this thread one that got the axe? The hatchet? Anyway, hope to see more of you.Wish I had that ability. I start dragging like a slug at 70*F.
Jane's profile shows she was on this morning but didn't post. Last post was yesterday. I hope she is feeling okay.Bbl gotta go outside and do some chores. 92 degrees already.
Where is jane with her weather report?
Hate to be a party pooper, but be very careful letting that dog get dominant like that toward Tom. Dog might start it toward the kids too, and next thing you know someone's going to get bit. Kids need to run pup on a leash. Tire them all out!Well, pup is protecting baby against Tom.He was pulling him to tickle and pup didnt like it He got between them, pushed baby backwards, sat on him and barked at Tom.
It was 90 here at noon when I came in soaking wet and lobster red. I would never go out side where you are.Ok I am back. That didn't last long. I am going to have to put my swim suit on and get wet if I want to stay outside
It's supposed to have whatever texture you want it to. Little less water gives individual grains, not enough water rice is crunchy and hard in the middle, lots of water and you can make soup! Yummy Jook is delicious... we make it whenever we have a turkey carcass... the bones make lovely broth. Is rice supposed to have the texture of mashed potatoes ? If so then its perfect.

She's probably really cute when she's dry!
Since most of it is chit chat, we can update you on the really important stuff, like granny has her 5 grandboys living with her and Kiki's house is an island in the flood (for now). I know you already knew all that, but it only takes a sec.Thank you. 60*C would have the world as a sizzling puddle.
I had axed it before... But you know... I'm back for a bit, just like that annoying relative that makes family reunions a headache.
I will try to poke my head in more often, but I really can't keep up with you crazies.
I sorta figured out the first... The 2nd, I've been worrying myself sick about that girl for ages!Since most of it is chit chat, we can update you on the really important stuff, like granny has her 5 grandboys living with her and Kiki's house is an island in the flood (for now). I know. I think all the attention was focused on where Harvey came onshore with the high winds... devastated entire towns. But it stalling the way it has and the rains are more severe and happened more quickly than most expected. That and the storm surge pushing inland makes it even harder to drain away all that water. They are still expecting a lot more rain. I will be surprised if Kiki stays dry.I sorta figured out the first... The 2nd, I've been worrying myself sick about that girl for ages!
That doesn't keep me from worrying my rear off.I'm still good...
I feel like what I imagine Granny feels like though..
JUST SO TIRED.
Hi Kiki! How about your dogs? All high and dry? And I've been meaning to ask you, how to you handle all the dog poo? Can they still go out for that? Just think what's floating in that water!!!Poor thing! Help her she is drowning!
