It's going to be a late night again tonight. It was after 2:00 a.m. this morning before I made it to bed. Had to laugh at hubby this afternoon. He asked if I could reuse the veggies for the next batch of chicken broth. Told him yep, they will feed the chickens, but no I can't reuse them to make stock because the veggies are what make the stock so tasty & have color. You need new ones for every canner.

I sure don't feel like one. This would be so much easier if I had a commercial 6 burner range. Each kettle takes 4+ hours to cook down good.

It's 71 here been over cast and muggy Sue has been about to burn me down all day with running the thermostat up to 75 I sneak in and turn it down she sneaks in and turns it up . It's a never ending feud I may have to sleep in the man cave tonight

Took all 5 boys to the chicken swap in Ky. What a disappointment. Rained out I guess. I bought 5 suckers and a loaf of banana nut bread. Soon as we got there we noticed a jail break and CB took off. The chase was on ! 20 mins. later he comes up soaked and muddy but he had that Banty roo in his grasp. LOL Most excitement of the day.

Cb still has it. Good for him!

The raw milk I get has it. Of course I pay dearly for it.
