Granny's gone and done it again

Its not easy! Thin boxers & a tank top are too many clothes. I want to go laydown, but the bed & sofa is just more fabric. It makes me feel guilty complaining when I know all the animals are covered in fur & feathers. Its been 110* in the coop the past few days & those poor quail look like they're gonna die. :th
Here is what. Do
Put my swim suit on. Put a thin tshirt over. Get wet out side. Do chores til you stop dripping then go in put a towel on your bed and lay down.

Hi everyone. Haven't managed to get on all week. Zeus computer virus infected 2 laptops and froze them all up. It's a PITA to get rid of, so hubs will take them to work next week and a tech savvy guy will work on them. Meanwhile, I am struggling along at a snail's pace on this stupid cell phone that takes forever to load and change pages and navigate. You peeps using phones must have really good fast ones, because this sucks.
The heatwave we are having also sucks, big time. 108* yesterday for MIL's funeral service and 109* today. I think for once I'm hotter than h2o and prostar. :hit Have a tiny ac window unit hubs dragged out of the shed, and it got the kitchen down to 86, so I'm not moving, but am still alive... barely. Haven't lost any chickens yet, thanks to a very shady grapefruit tree with branches to the ground that makes a nice cave for them and stays cool-ish when we spray the ground and branches. It's where I would stay if I had to be outside... top of the pecking order of course! Hens are dropping feathers like confetti and are extremely cranky. One more day of this to survive and we will drop back into the upper 90s on Mon. Never thought I'd be looking forward to 90s!

:hugsWishing.

in ali Wishing, It was showing you gone. Did you switch from lap top to mobile or whatever that is ?
I would die in that heat.
No, probably just this stupid phone. I have been logged in since early this morning.

Thanks for the hug, Alley! Feel like a grumpy old overheated hen today. Hugs are good.

And really, being a person of mature years, I do think this stupid phone is an amazing thing... like a computer in your hand, instead of taking up an entire floor of a building like back in the dark ages. I am just hot and cranky and hot and tired and hot. And not the good kind of hot either!
