Hubs had opened up the serama coop to let it cool off a bit and we both forgot. I ran up to close it and decided to snip the nails on Pisspot, who will not let me do it daylight. White nails in the flashlight beam... easy peasy, right? Well, Pisspot stayed true to her name. Just clipped the last nail and she thrashed madly, scraped my arm all up and scratched my nose. Stupid bird. She got away from me but couldn't see in the dark. Caught her and she started screaming bloody murder.wouldn't stop, stupid bird. But I did clip all the nails. Need to go find the neosporin...

My surly teen is about to turn 19. He wants Dean Martin cds for a gift! Was born out of time, that one. I think he showed this to me last week.

Scooter does not have puppydom as an excuse... he is terminally exuberant in middle age. Would make a super social therapy dog... if it weren't for the happy pee!

Has your son ever watched the movie Rio Bravo where Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson team up to sing "My rifle, pony and me"?

Just stopping in to turn out the lights. Night grannyland, 28 1/2 qrts of chicken broth on the counter. I have a smaller kettle of bone broth to finish up tomorrow (oops today) & 5 more birds to do something with. Plus I have to pkg up the chicken meat to put in the freezer.
