Granny's gone and done it again

I just came in from putting the chicks into the coop. Very cool out there, in the 50s! I was worried they might be too cold in the tractor with only a 60 watt bulb. It is quite a bit bigger than the brooder they were in. They were peeping when i went out there, which they don't normally do.
I had to take 1/4 " off the divider with a saw with a flashlight under my arm! And set up the lights, two in case one burns out. Find wood to fit next to divider to keep them from getting under. Then screw on the plywood over the door where i had a big vent area screened in for hot weather. Run the power through the nest box and screw the top down just in case a coon got up there.
The rooster was the only one in the coop. He started limping today. Now what? I will have to catch him and look at it. Sigh. So tired!
